Omar and his family of five live in an average house in the city of Afrin after he was displaced for the second time; he was displaced to Jericho before. Omar was an Engineering student but left his studies to work and secure a living for his family amid war and displacement. Omar is the only breadwinner for his family and sick daughter. He works intermittently without a steady income to cover the expenses of his child, who suffers from a cleft lip, a unfunctional kidney, two holes in the heart, and finally a curvature of the spine.
