Ibtisam lives with her three children in a house that is full of mold and barely sees the sun. The house has few floor mats and sponge mattresses, it is deprived of any cooling device such as a fan or an air conditioner in the midst of high temperatures. Ibtisam suffers from a heart condition and has some clogged arteries. She had two surgeries, which limited her work abilities. Ibtisam is constantly looking for work, but she is rejected every time because of her age and illness. She and her children are threatened by eviction if she does not pay the accumulated rent.
