Story
This family resides in a small two-room house, but their living conditions are dire. Abdulnaser works at a barber shop, splitting his earnings with the shop owner. The remaining income barely covers the family’s needs and rent. Despite his efforts, rent arrears for two months have accumulated. If not for temporary aid from the UN after the war, the landlord might have evicted the family.
Abdulnaser's four children are still in school, and he clings to the hope of providing them an education despite his increasing financial struggles. The burden of unpaid school fees has left him in turmoil: should he pull them out of school to work or continue fighting to keep them educated?
Their hardship is exemplified by a heart-wrenching scene—one daughter, attending afternoon classes, waits for her sister to return from morning school to borrow her jacket for the day. This poignant moment highlights the struggles of a family striving to maintain dignity but desperately in need of help.
Let us ensure they don’t face another winter like this. Together, we can stand with Abdulnaser and his family to bring them the support they need.
