Still, he held onto hope for a fresh start. But fate had other plans. Suffering from paralysis in one hand, Hassan traveled to Aleppo in search of treatment. On his way back, he was caught in an airstrike and sustained severe injuries—his kneecap was shattered, and his right leg was fractured, leaving him unable to walk or provide for his young children. Now, he and his family live in an unfinished house that offers no protection from the harsh winter cold. Even securing daily bread has become a struggle, and the surgeries and treatment he urgently needs are beyond his reach.
