Story
"Everyday, you have to suffer… over anything, even if it’s for sitting on two tiles instead of one and a half." Mohammed’s words reveal the sheer cruelty of his time in detention. Every prison he has moved to throughout his detention had its own way of breaking the detainees’ spirits, but Mohammed held on to a glimmer of hope, refusing to surrender to despair. When the long night of captivity finally ended, and the doors of his cell creaked open, Mohammed stepped out into the light of freedom. That moment — the first breath of fresh air and the sight of his homeland waiting for him — was his greatest victory. He returned to his family, carrying stories of pain and a newfound hope for a life worth living. But freedom alone cannot rebuild the life that was taken from him. Mohammed stands at the threshold of a new chapter, but he cannot walk this path alone. With your support, we can help him rebuild his future.
