Story
"I can't believe I'm finally free, and sometimes I fear I might be dreaming."
With these heartfelt words, Mohammad shared the painful details of his story.
After years of displacement in Lebanon, Mohammad decided to return due to the harsh living conditions there. However, as soon as he arrived, he was captured by security forces, marking the beginning of yet another journey of torment and suffering.
To prevent his transfer to the infamous "Saydnaya" prison—known as a death camp—his family, upon learning of his whereabouts, rushed to pay a ransom, forcing them to sell their belongings and go into debt.
Following the fall of the criminal regime, Mohammad was finally freed and reunited with his family, only to be shocked by their overwhelming debts and the dire conditions they were living in.
Help restore hope for this freed hero—every contribution helps ease the injustice and suffering he has endured.
