On December 8th, he was liberated from detention, starting a new chapter in his life. Mohammed had been unjustly arrested on terrorism charges and sent to Saydnaya Prison, where he spent six years before finally gaining his freedom. Due to the inhumane conditions of his imprisonment, he now suffers from severe head and nerve pain. Mohammed lives with his family in a small rented house, which he shares with his brother’s family, who supports both households.
