Story
For five years and two months, Mohammad Nour endured the horrors of detention in Palestine Branch (a prison in Syria), only to be arrested again for another four months in Saydnaya prison. When the day of freedom finally came, he stepped out–but he was not the same. Life awaited him beyond the prison walls, but it was no kinder than captivity…
Mohammad Nour suffers from recurring seizures and neurological episodes. He urgently needs medical tests, but he refuses to stop working–because every day he works means his family has food on the table. Despite his failing health, he remains the sole provider for his parents and siblings.
He and his family live in a war-damaged house, its crumbling walls threatening to collapse. He once dreamed of building a new life with his fiancée, but today, he fights just to secure the basics for his loved ones–trapped between the cruelty of his past and the hardships of his present.
Let’s stand by Mohammad Nour and his family. Let’s help restore hope and joy to their lives!
