Story
A week ago, Aunt Wafaa began feeling chest pain, but quietly endured it as she always does. She didn’t know it was her heart’s final warning. After being rushed to the hospital, the diagnosis was shocking: complete heart block, and her life now depends on urgently implanting a heart battery. Aunt Wafaa also suffers from diabetes, and her declining health has left her too weak to fight on her own. Each day without the procedure increases the danger. While the cost of the battery is modest, it’s too much for her struggling family. Every delayed heartbeat could be the last—will we let her lose this race for life?
