Story
Young Sidra sustained a war injury in 2018 that led to the amputation of her right leg below the knee. Unfortunately, the amputation was performed incorrectly by an unqualified team, which caused her severe infections and pain that prevented her from using a prosthetic limb. Doctors have confirmed the urgent need for corrective surgery to repair the amputation before her condition worsens.
Sidra lives with her family of seven in a modest home, where they all sleep in the living room—except for her. The family suffered greatly during the siege of Ghouta and cannot afford the cost of medical treatment.
Let us extend a helping hand to Sidra so she can be free from pain and can regain her ability to move.
