Story
When we visited young Mohammad, we were told he was at work, and we were shocked because we knew he had cancer. When we arrived, we found him carrying burdens far beyond his capacity. But what stood out the most wasn’t his physical exhaustion; it was that he didn’t want to talk about himself, but about his weary family. Not long ago, Mohammad was running between hospitals, between tests and treatments, when the news came that no one wished to hear: lymphoma. His mother had barely accepted the idea of losing her husband to the same illness, and now, she found herself in the same whirlwind again, but this time with her son. Mohammad wants a chance for treatment without seeing his mother cry every night, without feeling like a burden to those around him. Let’s stand with our little brother.
