"“I carry a family on my shoulders,”—with these words, Haidara sums up his daily battle with pain and poverty. He doesn't even own a rug to shield him from the cold ground, nor fuel to light the warmth of a heater. Haidara lives with his small family in a harsh reality… his body worn down by numerous war injuries, the most dangerous of which are shrapnel lodged in his head—impossible to remove without risking his life.
Despite the constant pain, he rises every morning to work, striving to provide a simple meal for his wife and his only son—his entire world. Haidara’s burdens are heavy: between debt, the struggle to feed his family, and his heartfelt wish to dress his son in new clothes for Eid. Will you be the reason for joy in their hearts, and make their Eid a truly happy one?
