Story
Rimas, a nine-year-old girl, lives in a tent with her widowed mother and four siblings after losing their father. A year ago, a fire burned their tent, causing deep burns on Rimas’s legs and hip. These burns tightened her skin, making movement painful and difficult.
She had a long treatment journey between Turkey and Syria, but the family ran out of money before she fully healed. Now, Rimas needs laser therapy, contracture release surgery, and stem cell grafts to regain movement in her legs.
Her mother’s daily work income is very little and barely covers food. Rimas dreams of walking and moving freely again.
Be the hope that helps Rimas walk again.
