Story
Brivan, 31, completed five rounds of chemotherapy after having her breast removed, but her treatment stopped with three sessions remaining because her husband — who has cerebral palsy and teaches their children at home — cannot afford to cover the costs. Their small income barely covers the family’s basic needs for themselves and their four children.
Completing her treatment will give Brivan a real chance to recover and help keep this modest household together in the face of illness and disability.
