Story
In a dilapidated home, Hamza’s mother lives among broken household tools and a worn-out kitchen that forced her to wash by hand, leaving her with eczema, and with no electricity to run even the simplest appliances.
Amid these harsh conditions, Hamza has been bedridden for five years, unable to move or sit. His suffering began with a slipped disc and a painful fall that damaged his knee joint, followed by unsuccessful surgeries that left him completely paralyzed from the lower back down. Pressure sores, infections, a constant need for medications and supplies, along with mounting debts to the pharmacy, have made life unbearably hard. Today, Hamza remains confined within crumbling walls, waiting for someone to extend a helping hand to ease his pain and hardship.
