The little girl, Judi, suffers from multiple sclerosis; a chronic illness that requires constant treatment, special medications, ongoing medical tests, and high expenses. Her physical and emotional condition continues to worsen; she is now bedridden and in need of continuous medical care that her family cannot afford. Their living situation is extremely harsh. The father works in the fields for a meager wage, while the mother, despite suffering from a painful back condition, helps the family by preparing and selling homemade food to earn their daily bread. Today, this family is in desperate need of a helping hand, to provide medication, medical tests, and, most importantly, to give Judi a chance to regain her health and a glimmer of hope for a better life.
