Uncle Mujham, his wife, and his sister are three elderly people living under pressure far greater than they can bear. All three share the same small rented house, but the rent has risen beyond what they can afford, while Uncle Mujham’s pension is so low it doesn’t even cover a single week of expenses. Since their old home was destroyed during the war — the last thing they truly owned — their life has become an endless cycle of moving between rented houses, taking on more debt, and living under constant threat of eviction every time the rent goes up. A simple family, visibly worn out, with hearts broken by a long, harsh road. They now stand on the edge of losing yet another home. They need someone to stand with them before they are forced to leave their house once again. Every bit of help, even if small, can restore some sense of safety and protect them from falling back into homelessness.
