Story
Grandmother Amoon received a death notice for her detained son – the first shock that shattered her heart.
Not long after, she lost two more sons: one to a heart attack, the other to a brain haemorrhage.
Now, the responsibility of caring for 15 grandchildren and two widows rests entirely on her shoulders, a weight no elderly woman should have to carry.
In a crumbling mud house, Grandma Amoon and her grandchildren live in extremely harsh conditions.
The home lacks all basic necessities of life: a collapsing roof, worn-out bedding, and almost nothing that could be called comfort or stability.
They suffer from the loss of their breadwinners, the grief of losing fathers and sons, and the absence of even the minimum of a dignified life. The grandchildren are of different ages, each with needs that never end – food, school supplies, clothing – while debts pile up as expenses grow and income is nowhere to be found.
Grandmother Amoon’s situation is truly tragic. She urgently needs help to cover the living costs of this large family, buy the medicine she needs for her own illnesses, and pay the rent for the house that barely shelters them.
Your support for Grandma Amoon is not just for one person; it is a lifeline for many orphans.
Let’s be their hope and their support in the middle of all this pain.
