Yassin was imprisoned in some of the harshest and most ruthless detention centers since 2018, first in the Palestine Branch and then in Sednaya. The pain inflicted by Assad on his body and soul is priceless. Yassin now suffers from epileptic seizures due to severe beatings in prison and requires continuous medication for his condition. He sustained five war-related injuries to his body, one of which is a shrapnel fragment still lodged in his head, requiring surgery. Debts have piled up beyond his ability to manage.
