Intissar has become the head of the household after the death of her brother and father. She now cares for her brother’s children and manages their affairs, while also living with her mother, her own child, and her niece’s son. The house has become too cramped to accommodate everyone, and in its current state, it is cracked, unfit for living, and lacking basic necessities. Their living conditions worsen daily, sometimes struggling to secure daily food, other times to provide care. They have no source of income except for some in-kind assistance from neighbors, which barely covers their needs. Her mother also requires medical treatment, which she cannot afford, leaving Intissar powerless against the harsh reality imposed on her.
