After years of teaching children in displacement camps, Mr. Ali returned to his village hoping to build a stable life, only to find his home reduced to ruins. He now lives with his wife and two children in a relative’s house, barely restored, in conditions that lack the simplest comforts. His pain is compounded by his child’s illness, which demands constant medication and medical care—costs Ali cannot meet without an income. Amid the wreckage of his home and the shadow of his child’s suffering, he fights every day to protect his family and give his child a chance at healing and security.
