Story
About 45 days ago, Turki began experiencing persistent pain and fatigue, but his condition rapidly worsened until he lost sensation and movement in his lower limbs. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors diagnosed a complex condition involving a severe immune response and transverse myelitis that left him paralyzed in both legs. Turki remains hospitalized and is undergoing intensive treatment and long-term physical therapy as doctors work to prevent further deterioration. He now urgently needs essential support, including a wheelchair, an air mattress, and continued medical care. Turki lives with his parents and seven siblings in a small home, and the family has fallen into heavy debt trying to cover his treatment while still caring for eight children. Just weeks ago, Turki was running and playing—today, he is waiting for the chance to stand again.
