Story
After years of displacement, Mahmoud returned to his city to find his home very destroyed. He had no choice but to repair a very small part of the house to shelter his family, and he had to borrow money to do so, accumulating debts just to make the place barely livable. Even then, the house remains unsafe, with cracked walls and exposed sections that offer no protection from harsh weather.
Mahmoud supports four children and works as a daily laborer with irregular income that is not enough to cover basic needs or repay the debts he took on for the repairs. His children live in a fragile home, spending their days near a collapsed wall, surrounded by constant fear and a complete lack of stability.
Today, Mahmoud needs help to ease the burden of debt and provide his family with real safety. A helping hand could secure the roof over their heads and protect his children from the danger that surrounds them every day. Your support could be the difference between a livable home and one that threatens the lives of its residents.
