Story
The child Othman suffers from severe difficulty breathing, sometimes accompanied by intense sweating that exhausts his small body. After medical imaging and cardiac tests were conducted, it was discovered that he has Tetralogy of Fallot with arterial obstruction and a hole in the heart, which requires urgent open-heart surgery to save his life. Othman’s father works as an accountant with a modest income and is the sole provider for his extended family. The family lives in a simple rural house, and the grandparents live with them as well. The father bears the responsibility of providing for everyone’s needs, in addition to covering the monthly medications for the grandfather, who suffers from chronic illnesses. The family’s limited income barely covers basic expenses, while the cost of the surgery far exceeds their financial means.
