Story
Mohammed has been living for years with a fragment lodged in his back, causing constant pain and exhaustion. It requires surgical intervention, but he has not yet had the chance to receive it. He works whenever possible in any available job, but the pain follows him and limits his ability to continue.
Inside the home, there is another source of suffering. His daughter was once able to move and speak like other children, but during the siege and shelling of their home, her condition suddenly deteriorated, leaving her completely paralyzed. She cannot stand or speak and requires special care and expenses beyond the family’s means.
The family has no stable income and has accumulated debts at the grocery store just to secure food, which are only paid when work is available. They live in temporary housing and face the risk of eviction at any time.
A father in constant pain with every movement, a child unable to move at all, and a family trying to stay standing under overwhelming hardship.
