Story
Mahmoud works as a painter for a daily, irregular wage. Every morning he goes out searching for work to provide for his children. Some days he returns with a little money, and on other days he returns empty handed, while rent, food, and household needs continue to wait for him every day.
In many days, the family survives on very simple meals, and there were nights in Ramadan when their iftar was only oil and thyme. After the birth of their baby, which required a difficult operation, the family had to borrow money to cover medical expenses, adding more debt on top of their daily struggles.
Despite exhaustion and hardship, this father continues to stand firm for his children so they do not feel the weight of poverty he carries alone. Today, this family needs support to ease the burden of difficult days and help them breathe again.
