Story
Little Jumaa was born with cerebral atrophy, leaving him in need of constant medical care and treatment far beyond his family’s means. From the moment he was born, the family’s struggle began to grow, caught between constant worry for his health and the inability to afford the high cost of treatment.
The family lives in a worn-out tent in Yazibagh camp, under harsh conditions lacking even the most basic necessities. Their shelter is fragile, and their simple belongings offer little protection from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. His father, Shaaban, is the sole provider, working odd jobs with a limited income that barely covers basic needs, making his child’s treatment an impossible burden.
Between an illness that requires ongoing care and poverty that weighs heavily on them, this family lives a painful reality, waiting for a helping hand to ease some of their burden.
