Abdel Karim, his wife and children live in a very poor condition, as the family suffers from extreme poverty and the need for many elements of life, due to the inability of the father to work, who suffers from a permanent disability of the feet. He cannot find an income to help the family in the hardships of life. The family lives in an uninhabitable house.
