Aya was born on July 17, 2018 in Aleppo. Aya lives with her mother in her grandfather's house. They share the house with three other families, although the house is simple and lacks furniture and household necessities. Aya's father was martyred a few months before her birth in 2018 due to bombardment. She loves to hear stories about him because she was deprived of her right to meet him. Aya hopes to live a happy and hopeful life in which she can realize her dreams.
