Fatima was born in Homs on 07/14/2013. Her father died in 2013 only one month before her birth. She was deprived of her father’s affection and began a journey of refuge from the Qusair countryside to Qalamoun and then to Lebanon. She suffered from displacement, hunger and lack of shelter and lived for two years with her mother’s family and then moved to a small caravan. One of Fatima’s dreams is to play with dolls, as she cannot afford buying them. Fatima is an ambitious, shy, and polite child who aspires to become a teacher who teaches the Holy Quran.
