Qusai is a child born on 31/8/2011. In 2012, when he did not turn one yet, his father was killed in the war, leaving his son deprived of back and safety. Qusai suffered from displacement as he fled with his family to Lebanon via Qalamoun looking for safety, ending up residing in a small tent which did not shelter them from the cold of winter or the heat of summer- Qusai and his cousin who also lost her father reside with their grandparents after his mother remarried, facing harsh living conditions with no breadwinner. Since their grandfather is an elderly man, he cannot work for a living for his grandchildren. Despite all those challenging circumstances, Qusai's smile never set from his face – he likes having fun, playing and laughing and loves football and riding a bike, but he does not have one.
