Wahida, a young orphan girl, lives with her ill mother, two little sisters, and elderly grandparents worn down by age. They share two cracked rooms with a tarp roof that offers no protection from the cold of winter or the heat of summer. Their home has no furniture, no warmth, and they barely manage to find enough food. Her mother battles life alone, while Wahida faces childhood with no father, no security, and none of the basic rights to education or play.
