Story
Walid was born on 03/03/2016 in a foreign land, far from his homeland, Syria — a country he knew only through stories of revolution and pain. He returned after the fall of Assad… but in what state did he return?
An orphan, broken, surrounded by grief and hemmed in by injustice.
Today, Walid lives with his grandfather and grandmother. His grandmother has taken on the tender task of teaching him his Arabic again — the language he had almost forgotten in exile. Despite the difficult circumstances, this little boy continues his schooling, holding onto a big dream: to become an architect one day, so he can help rebuild his homeland, whose foundations were destroyed by tyranny.
Your sponsorship is the key to hope for Walid — a way to give him a dignified life that befits him, and a future where his dreams are possible, not postponed.
