Mahmoud is a nine-year-old orphan who lived most of his childhood in refugee camps after losing his father at the age of four. His family fled to Turkey seeking security, but they ended up facing severe financial difficulties due to the high cost of living, which forced them to return to Syria. Repeated displacements and instability have negatively affected Mahmoud's education, as he has been unable to attend school regularly. He now lives with his sister and his mother who works from home, in making cookies, to secure the family's basic needs. Mahmoud and his family are experiencing difficult living conditions, they need support to improve their life.
