Nusseibeh has diabetes and is living in difficult circumstances. She lives in a canvas tent after getting displaced from the countryside of Damascus to end up settling in a tent that does not protect them from heat nor cold. As a result, summer heat caused her insulin medication to be no longer vaild for using, and not taking the medication causes her hyperglycemia, which is life threatening. In addition, she has kids who need clothes and supplies, and their only breadwinner is her husband, who works intermittently.
