Being displaced several times from a tent to another was not the only hardship Ahmad was going through. His three children were diagnosed with thalassemia and need to be in the hospital frequently for blood transfusions. He is their primary caregiver which does not give him time to work, but also leaves them without income. Their tent was damaged during a storm and they lost all their belongings. They moved to a storage unit where their only source of warmth is burning some plastic. Even the smallest donation is enough to help them through this difficult time.
