Eight years ago, the twenty-seven-year-old Alaa was displaced to Idlib after the outbreak of war in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Alaa lives in a rented tent with his wife and five children, all under the age of seven. Five months ago, Muhammad and his wife were blessed with twins, who were born prematurely in their sixth month, and as a result, they suffer from developmental problems.
