4 years ago, Bassela accidentally drank sodium hydroxide which is a chemical irritant and since that time she has been suffering from corrosive esophagitis. Bassela is a 23 years old lady who spends most her time in pain between the hospitals because of her condition. Bassela underwent esophageal stenting to relieve the strictures in her esophagus, but unfortunately her condition was further complicated by multiple adhesions following the procedure.
