Anoud and her family were displaced from Albukamal after the heavy bombardment and the suffocating siege that the city was subjected to. The family fled to Turkey. There, the little girl had an accident due to vision impairment, which caused her an injury to her foot. The injury affects her movement, which increased the bullying she is exposed to at school. The mother works as a handmaid to feed her two children after she separated from her husband. This work is not stable and the income is barely enough. They need some amount to cover the expenses and buy some furniture for the vacant house.
