Ibtisam and her family have endured harsh living conditions, as the war forced them to flee their home in search of safety. After moving to different places, they arrived in Lebanon and found themselves in a small, gloomy room, much like their life. They live in dire poverty, and the aid they receive is barely enough to feed them and pay the rent. Furthermore, Ibtisam is in excruciating pain as a result of an abscess and kidney disease.
