Following the suffocating siege and bombing in Eastern Ghouta, Mahmoud was forcibly displaced from his home. Mahmoud had no choice but to relocate his family away from the conflict, and they settled in one of Lebanon's villages. The family is living in difficult circumstances, exacerbated by inflation, and the disease has added to their burden. Mahmoud had an inguinal hernia and required immediate surgery.
