The family eventually settled in Turkey after a long journey of displacement. Unfortunately, Aisha's husband died of cancer not long after, leaving her alone with a variety of illnesses. Her son is unable to work to support the family because he also suffers from cancer and has undergone several operations, in addition to kidney stones. Aisha's struggles with poor mental health and anxiety as she fears losing her son, who remains her only companion after the deaths of her husband and son. Because of the lack of income, they have been deprived of the necessities of life and can no longer secure the expenses of their treatment. They depend on charity to barely cover their livelihood.
