Ahmed and his family currently live in a rented house. Prior to his son becoming 18, they were dependent on a Red Cresent card to cover their needs in addition to his son's work. Ahmed's children all have special needs. He also has a herniated disc, hypertension, diabetes, and poor eyesight. He also had surgeries for torn ligaments and joint calcification; he is unable to walk far. He needs intra-articular injections, and if things don't improve, he might need joint replacement surgery.
