Because of the bombing and violence in their neighborhood in Homs, Zahra's family fled to Lebanon. Zahra's son "Mohammed" was born in the seventh month of her pregnancy, following the displacement. The terror that Zahra had during her pregnancy had a significant affect on the child's health, as he is now ten years old and suffers from heart failure, and his parents spend all of their salary on medicine for him. Mohammed needs regular checkups in order for his health to stabilize. Debts have accumulated, and the family is no longer able to pay the rent on the house.
