Muyassar used to work in stone-cutting when a heavy machine fell on his arm, crushing it and causing severe damage to his tendons and the loss of some fingers. He now lives with his six children and his sick wife, who suffers from strokes, in a room at his workplace where they breathe dust that almost suffocates them! In addition to all the hardships that Muyassar endures, he sold all his properties in Syria and invested the money in building a house to shelter him and his children. However, he later discovered that his friend deceived him and evicted him from the house that he had poured his heart and soul into. Muyassar faces numerous disappointments and excruciating pains, but he is unable to solve them due to his poor health and living conditions, as well as his wife's health issues that require constant medications.
