Fawaz is a man who recently undertook an amputation in the left leg after a severe injury. That poor man is in his fifth decade and he lives in one of the shelters in Ghouta. Today, he has to use a walking stick and avoid unnecessary movements until the wound is fully closed which may take 15 days. With taking the ongoing shelling in the Eastren Ghouta into account, it becomes impossible for Fawaz to secure the treatment costs.
