Amira, from Homs, entered Lebanon with her mother and young daughter following the arrest campaigns and forced displacement that the city’s residents were subjected to. She settled in one of the Bekaa camps and has tried her best to work in harsh conditions for little income to secure a better life for her family. Today, in light of high prices, no support, and racism, Amira lost her job and her only income after she was robbed on her way back from work. Amira’s tragedies are almost endless, as her mother suffers from cancer and needs medicine and treatment sessions. Amira will not be able to pay any of this except through your help and donations.
