Ghazal and her family live with relatives in a shared two-room house in which two families live in difficult living conditions. Ghazal's husband works intermittently and is unable to provide all his needs. Their child died a while ago and the family still has debts to the hospital, and another six-year-old child suffers from short bone growth and needs a specific type of drug that the family is unable to secure its cost.
