After repeatedly being displaced from Damascus and then from a house damaged by the earthquake, they ended up in a small home that they can barely afford to rent. Despite her poor vision and suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, she strives for her children and works as a sewing instructor, while her son works in a shop.
