Historia
Eleven years ago, Nasser fled his hometown to escape the horrors of war, seeking refuge in a camp in Lebanon. However, his hardships only deepened as he faced repeated arrests by Lebanese authorities. Desperate for freedom, he attempted to return to Idlib through smuggling routes, but his journey ended in Aleppo, where he was handed over to military security.
What followed was a harrowing ordeal—Nasser was transferred between security branches and endured unimaginable torture. He recalls, "When the pain in my back from a slipped disc became unbearable, and the beatings intensified, I gave in and said, ‘Just give me anything to sign.’”
After enduring severe injustice, Nasser finally tasted the joy of freedom and returned to his hometown after years of separation. Today, he lives with his family in safety, but they lack any stable income to meet their basic needs or rebuild their lives.
Your support can help Nasser and his family overcome their dark past and embrace a new beginning with hope and dignity.
